Alfred Munnings reading aloud outside on the grass (circa 1911). Harold Knight, R.A. (1874-1961). Oil on canvas.
Munnings (English, Newlyn School, 1878–1959) was known as one of England’s finest painters of horses, and as an outspoken enemy of Modernism.
Knight was a close friend. There were profound changes in Knight’s palette, richer, more colorful, a clarity of light and a growing distance from the gritty realism of his early years. Portraiture, figures and interiors were preferred.

UGH MY STEPMOM ATE HALF MY MEATPIES!
Supposed to have a convo tomorrow with a booker/manager guy who is into my music. Pray for blessings!
My first documentary feature: “Brundidge: A Documentary”. Apparently I already offended some people from Brundidge. I was just trying to kill some time in your town waiting for my soundcheck. I’m so so sorry (that you have no sense of humor).
